For this year’s competition, we decided on a shortlist of twelve stories, and a highly commended list of twenty. The calibre of stories we received this year was so high, it was no easy matter to make our selections. The stories below are what we regard as the best of a very rich crop, and we offer our sincere admiration and congratulations to the writers who created them!
